Haste makes Waste
First off, I’m sorry to everyone following my little blog here and looking forward to an update. This morning I was rushing to get to work as fast as possible, and must not have activated Forex MegaDroid or something because when I got home today to check on it, it wasn’t even running. So sadly I do not have any trades to show you guys today.
I thought about just leaving it on 24/7 and shut it down on Fridays, but I haven’t yet traded the overnight session so I have no idea how it will do. Anyone have any experience with running this thing non stop Monday through Friday?

(Oops, sorry I posted this in the wrong blog entry first!)
Hi Jim,
I have had it running none stop for over a week now. It stops trading itself on Friday and then resumes automatically on Monday afternoon. I am in the UK and from what I can gather it does most of its trading after 10pm GMT when the Asian session comes online. I guess this is during the day for you. Though I have yet to confirm that as I have no trades!
I have just installed the new update (version 1.10) put out today by the Mega Droid team so maybe that will help.
Hope that helps

I installed MD on Sunday and also installed the udated version (v1.10) yesterday. I have left the bot running 24/7, but like Jim, I have had no trades as of 6:20pm CDT.
I hope this thing does something productive soon.

Well last night gave my first trading activity by the droid exactly a week after I started with it. I dont know if it was the update or what but I am happy. Two trades both closed for an overall profit of $95! Not too bad!

Tonight I saw my first trade by MD. Entry was a sell order for 1.3006 at 01:54 UTC and the T/P was set at 1.2946. For some reason, MD closed the trade at 03:56 exiting at 1.2991. Although the trade made 15 pips, I’m not sure why it exited before the T/P was reached.
Any ideas?

Hey Kyle,
I think the bot will get out of a trade early if it decides that is the best decision at that time; I’m not 100% sure but this has happened to me on 2 trades now, and it’s the only explanation I have. MD shouldn’t be closing us out of any trades involuntarily.
