Forex MegaDroid Results for Monday
Win Ratio: 83% - Total Profit: $43.95
Following my last post, it’s kind of ironic Forex MegaDroid had a 3:1 win ratio today. All together it’s currently holding a 5:1 ratio which isn’t surprising to me. This bot is like any other trading system out there and it must have a certain percentage of losing trades; you gotta look at it as the cost of doing business. None the less it performed flawlessly and I ended up in the green $28.06.
I’m seriously considering depositing a bit more money into the account and trading with a larger lot size if the rest of the week goes well. So far I’ve heard nothing but good things from everyone I talked to who is actually using Forex MegaDroid, and I know it’s only two days but of profit so far for me personally, but man, this is so cool!
As always, I’ll keep you guys updated; don’t forget to subscribe!

It is April 15th. How are the results going after a few more days? Do you have an update?

How to set up for the GMT, or use GMT automatic
By RUIRONG CHEN on Apr 15, 2009
Hi Jim,
Brilliant review, please keep it going. Very helpful. I invested in the the droid on the 14 April and no trades so far, but patience is the name of the game. You seem to be getting trades in the daytime. Mine gives me the ‘waiting’ line on the chart until 10pm every night at which point it switches to ‘running’. It has done this for the last two nights, switching to running at exactly 10pm. Have you/any other readers experienced this?

@Kyle - Sorry I’ve been extremely busy, just updated the blog today though. Thank you for the interest!
@RUIRONG CHEN - If the GMT automatic doesn’t work, then check your MetaTrader GMT offset. Then, in the MegaDroid settings, just change the ‘GMTOffset’ value to whatever your MetaTrader offset is.
@Adam - Hey thanks man. I think it may be due to your offset settings. I have mine set for AZ time, right when the regular session starts for stocks, futures, etc in the US. I’ve heard about this happening to others, just Google it and you’ll find a bunch of info.

Hi Jim
Firstly, what platform does the bot work on (Metatrader?), what brokerage are you with and thirdly - why is there no stop loss added in the trasactions? How does the bot contol your risk as you mentioned the 5% setting? (does it automatically close off a trade when you hit 5% of account)
Many Thanks
Rowan

Yes, the bot will only work on MetaTrader.
I’m going through FXDD; I’ve been using them as a broker for awhile now and have had virtually no complaints, so I’m sticking with em.
About the stops, I’m not exactly sure how the bot gets you out of the trade if it goes against you, as I’ve never been to able to sit in front of the computer and watch while the bot trades. I do know for a fact though that it will not go over your set risk level, so I’d imagine that if it did hit that 5% of my account, it would just get me out of the market right there.
